I donβt leave reviews but thought I would for this place, we came in just for Sushi. It was pretty low quality we only had 4 different rolls and an appetizer with 2 rolls being like the cheaper ones. Its the first time I spent $50 on two people for sushi and left hungry. The sushi was very plain (I mean yeah its sushi) but it tasted like low quality and flavorless and we made a joke that sushi from Giant tasted better. We have been to multiple Sushi places and this is definitely a no to come back to. We feel the price to quality and quantity wasnt worth it and we drove 40 minutes to come here for the first time.

Very Disappointing β Not What I Expected From a Japanese Restaurant Iβve eaten at many Japanese restaurants in Hawaii, New York, Boston and Japan. unfortunately, this was the worst experiences Iβve had. The food, preparation, and presentation were simply not what I would expect from authentic Japanese cuisine. Here are the biggest issues: π± Unagi Donburi β The presentation was very unusual. Traditionally, donburi is served in a bowl/box, not on a plate. The eel was also cut into fillets rather than presented in substantial portions. π₯ Japanese Salad β The dressing was a thick, yellowish cream sauce, completely different from the light, delicate dressings I normally associate with Japanese salads. π€ Coconut Shrimp β The shrimp were extremely small and thin, while the coating was very thick. Most of what I tasted was flour and coconut rather than shrimp. π₯¦ Vegetable Tempura β This was particularly disappointing. Instead of the light, airy tempura batter characteristic of Japanese tempura, the vegetables appeared to be lightly coated in flour and deep-fried. The result was nothing like the delicate, crisp tempura Iβm familiar with. π£ Sushi Rice β The rice was cold and hard, wit

It was our first time trying this place. We ordered tempura udon, seafood udon, gyoza and fried calamari. All were delicious. The tempura portion that came with the udon was huge. My toddler devoured the gyoza and the tempura. The atmosphere was cozy. The staff was attentive. We will be back!

Exceptional Sushi Experience at Sapporo East - A True Gem! I can't speak highly enough of Sapporo East Sushi Restaurant - it has become a weekly ritual for my fiance and me, and sometimes we can't resist stopping by more often! From the moment we walk in, we are greeted by the amazing staff who make every visit memorable. In particular, the servers Ferry and Diane are simply outstanding - they have gone above and beyond to make us feel like part of the Sapporo family, always remembering our names and treating us with the utmost care and attention. What truly sets Sapporo East apart is their exceptional sushi quality and inventive rolls. My fiance, who was never a sushi fan before, is now a convert thanks to the incredibly fresh fish and delicious rolls served here. Among our favorite sushi rolls that I highly recommend are the White Sand, Ray's Roll, and the Black Pearl - each one bursting with unique flavors that keep us coming back for more. Every bite is a burst of flavor, and we always leave feeling completely satisfied. We have even made Sapporo East our go-to spot for double dates with friends, as the inviting atmosphere and top-notch service never disappoint. If you're lo
